Options for Parents with Very Young Children

• Nursery - We provide loving and qualified care for children from infancy to 3 years of age in our nursery for parents who desire such care. Our nursery is located downstairs from the sanctuary, adjacent to our Fellowship Hall.
• Welcome in Worship - We also welcome children of ALL ages to our services of worship!
• Cry Room - We certainly don't mind the noises that children make in the sanctuary and don't relish the name for this loft space (it was dubbed the Cry Room years ago...and the name stuck!) We do have a cozy space above the sanctuary that allows parents with babies the opportunity to worship without worrying about the noises their little ones might make.

Moment for Young Disciples
We have a much loved time during the each worship service (usually after the first scripture reading) when children are invited to come forward to hear a part of the day's Bible message....just for them (though we think the adults actually enjoy this part of the service just as much!)

Kid’s Church • Ages and Classes
After the Moment for Young Disciples, children have the option of going to Kids' Church for the second half of the worship service. We offer two Kids' Church classes: a younger class for children ages 3-1st grade and an older class for children in 2nd-5th grade with activities suitable for children up to age 12. Parents are asked to pick up their children before heading to coffee fellowship. The Kids' Church rooms are in the adjacent building, bottom floor, 1st doorway (younger on left; older on the right side of hallway) As always, children of any age are welcome to remain for the entire worship service with their families. On communion Sundays (the 1st Sunday of each month), we do not have Kids' Church classes to allow for children of all ages to experience worship and to allow us to worship together as the whole family of God at CLPC.
