Fun and learning come together in this pre-kindergarten program designed for children who are ready for a little something more. Through creative arts, songs, books, games, and movement, children will be “hands-on” in language, math, social studies, science, pre-writing, and beyond as new skills and interests emerge. Our gentle introduction to academic curriculum will provide a foundation for literacy through listening, rhyming, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, print awareness, and fine motor activities. Patterning, sorting, counting, manipulatives, and movement provide support for future understanding of number concepts.Through a combination of self-directed activities, whole group instruction, and exploratory play, children will be having too much fun to realize they are learning!
